Time to leave San Jose!

I don't have much time to write the blog, so it will be mostly pictures. Why don't I have time??? Because we are LEAVING SAN JOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo happy! Today we will drive to L.A. and spend the next 4 days at Disneyland. Then on to AZ for a week, then HOME!!
Last weekend Leonard, Michelle, some friends of theirs, Elektra and I did the American Liver Foundation Walk-A-Thon. Thanks to Gramma Ann and Daddy's company, I raised $100. Michelle was the guest speaker there. She did so good, that I think she could be a pro at public speaking.

Their friend Seth carried John's picture that represented our team. We walked 3 miles! Last week we got to tour my brothers work. It was pretty neat. This is his office. He actually has his very own office, not just a cubicle like all the others. Every office must have a slinky to play with. Work? what work? Elektra is very excited to be leaving the blue house! Caleb is very happy we are leaving the blue house and coming home!!! See the 6 of us! This is the lake and park in our neighborhood. Calebs new toy that he likes to sleep with. Definitely a difference in boys and girls! Mikey went to school and had lunch with Caleb. Then with Zachary. Mike had to work down south again, so they went to the beach. This is a blowfish. A dead one. Oh my, these pictures caused about 100 gray hairs to pop out of my head. Coming back they found a crab migration. Most made it across the road. Where in the world do you think they all were going? Mike took a ton of pictures of these as they crossed. Zachary made this from the BendARoos that he got for his birthday from Leonard and Michelle. Some school work. Kindergarten is so fun! Remember those crickets that Mike caught? A friend of the boys had a girl cricket (don't ask me HOW he knew it was a girl). so now the kids are getting a sex ed. The girl is in the middle. Even in nature they have Menage a trois! Zachary loves his triple cheeseburgers! Again the kids went to Universal Studios. It is so nice when there is no one else there!

Well, I guess I was able to write a little about each picture since my brother is not yet home for us to leave. I'm looking forward to seeing all my family and friends next week!

Mystery Spot

The kids are doing good in school. Caleb loves riding the school bus with Zachary and Avery. School Zombies! We have big bugs in Florida. Our cats love to go outside and chase all the bugs. Zeeb is going crazy that he can't play with the bugs! Mike put them in our Critter Tank. The cats are still going crazy over them! The kids love when Daddy gets big packages from work. Theres not much thats more fun than running and stomping on Bubble Wrap!! Christina getting ready for the Football game. She got her Drivers License!! Yay Christina!!!!! For Labor Day, Leonard, Michelle, Elsa (their friend), Elektra and I went to the Mystery Spot. http://www.mysteryspot.com/ If you are ever in the area, it is a must experience. Especially if you are a skeptic. Some speculate that cones of metal were secretly brought here and buried in our earth as guidance systems for their spacecraft. Some think that it is in fact the spacecraft itself burried deep within the ground. Other theories include carbon dioxide permeating from the earth, a hole in the ozone layer, a magma vortex, the highest dielectric biocosmic radiation known anywhere in the world, and radiesthesia. Whatever the cause is, it remains a mystery. Whether or not you believe these stories, or think its only a optical illusion, you will leave that place thinking, "what the heck?" Simple words cannot adequately explain this place. This ball was suspended from the ceiling with a small cable. If you pushed it toward the center of the room, it was very difficult and heavy. In the picture Leonard is pushing it very hard and thats as far as he can swing it. However, push it away from the center of the room, and it is very easy. It feels like you would expect it to feel. Its only about a 5 pound ball. The tree branches only grow toward the center of the spot. Your body feels like there is weight on your shoulders. Your head feels like you just spun in circles for minute. You can even feel nauseous. But after you step away from the area, you feel normal again. He is standing here very comfortably. Its physically impossible to stand any other way. This cue ball is on a LEVEL board rolling -------> toward the center of the spot. Is it a trick? An optical illusion perharps? She took someones chapstick and just set it down. As soon as her fingers lifted off, the chapstick rolled ------> towards the center. As if being pulled by a string. She poured water on the center of the board, and the water flowed only-----> towards the center of the Mystery Spot. In the next two pictures, are the same people, just in flipped positions. This picture they are lined up from shortest to tallest. The girl on the left is 5ft. The guy on the far right is 6ft. Remember, the board they are standing on, is LEVEL. (they show you with a level, that has a bubble in the middle of it when its at a level position) It was the most craziest place. And a must do! If you go, get your tickets online FIRST.

Elektra is so independent! She has started trying to wash her own hair. I always let her pick out her own breakfast. This day it was Cheerios, Life Cereal and a pickle. Yes, she ate it all! When Michelle bought this for her in January, Elektra had no interest in wearing it. Now? She will barely take it off! She wore it to dinner last night, right up to when she went to bed. Princess Elektra! She did this puzzle all by herself! Leonard and Michelle are going to the Navy Ball in October. This is the dress Michelle picked out. Isn't she just gorgeous?! A Princess! Like mother, like daughter. This is Elektra's and my last week in San Jose! We leave on the 15th. We will go to Disneyland for 3 days, then spend a week in Phoenix, and then head HOME to Florida!
