We are cocoNUTS

Yeah!! Our first tomato off our tomato plant!!! I cut it up and Caleb and I ate it with basil, and mozzarella. Yummm!!!
When we were at the beach in Boca Raton, there were coconuts all over the place.
We brought home 1 brown (old) coconut, and one green (young) coconut.

Mike put a hole in it, drained it into a glass, then hacked it open. HEMAN!!

This is what is inside the large shell. A smaller shell.

So Mike hacked it again. *Chest pounding* very cool!! Look at all the 'meat'. Next he put a hole in the Green Coconut. And drained it..... And drained it..... And drained it.... 4 entirely full cups!! Then Mikey hacked it open. *More Heman Chest Pounding* This is the inside of the green one. Not much meat. However, you take a spoon and scrape down to the husk, and enjoy it! It is very gelatin like. The consistency of it is like the egg white of a sunny side up egg.Believe it or not, it was fairly tasty!! So is the juice. Its not coconut milk, but we strained it and added some lime juice.

It tasted good fresh, and healthy.

There's an old song--from the 60's I think--by Harry Nilsson about a brother who buys a coconut and a sister who buys a lime.

It goes something like: Put the lime in the coconut, you drink 'em both together

Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better
