To the Zoo and DisneyWorld

I took Elektra to the Zoo last week with my friend Diane and her friend from out of state.
Before we left, Elektra took a shower. She was so excited about going to the zoo, she was walking around in her towel like a Penguin, saying "Waddle Waddle, I'm a penguin."
She had such a great time that I got us a Family annual membership to go back whenever we want!
Diane's friend, Char brought her daughter, son in law and granddaughter.
Jayden is her name and she is one. Elektra loved playing with her.
But she didn't care for the spiders too much.  Yuck! This one is as big as her head!
Wait! I thought we were at the Zoo! Not a Dinosaur Park!
I wish I would of known about the water park.  I let Elektra play in the water, but she did not want to get her dress wet, and it was only one I had, plus we had plans for afterwards, I did not want her unhappy in a soaked dress, so Diane found that the gift shop sold Swimmers. Yay! Problem solved!
Then we went on a train ride.
Choo Choo! Lets go!
Elektra was brave and touched the goats nose,
but that was as close as she would get to them.
Ribbit
Elektra the Cheetah
No, Elektra the Monkey
Nope just a Happy Elektra!
Someday I will be big enough to ride on you!
They are putting in a new Tiger Exhibit, so there weren't any Tigers to see,
but hey! We are members, so we will be back!
After the Zoo we went to Don Pablos. We waited quite a while for our food,
but it didn't bother Elektra, she ate 3 bowls of chips and salsa. In fact, she liked the salsa so much that when the first bowl was done she picked it up and was licking it!
We got home tons of kids in the neighborhood were playing out front.
Thats the best part of living in a cul-de-sac, all the kids (and their parents) gather and hit balls, ride their bikes, drive their play jeeps, etc.  Its always fun to go out and play.
My little garden is growing quite well!  I have so many new herbs and veggies in it.
Every day the kids, and even the neighborhood kids come and look at it.
They pull the red strawberries off, wash them and enjoy a little snack.
Some of the braver ones will try the basil, mint, dill, thyme, parsley, rosemary, cilantro, and chives.
Then after they have gotten energy from all my yummy food, they go out and beat up Ben.
For Christina's Senior Party, they went to Disneyworld from 8pm-4am!
They had a blast!
Yay! Space Mountain is open again! Time for us to head back to Disney.
Thats the best part of living in Florida.  Theme park school field trips!
