A Wonderful Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!
It was so relaxing and enjoyable.
Mike and I finished all of our shopping by the 27th.
We were completely prepared for this Holiday.
 And they were very excited!
My brother Frank and his sweetie Dave
came over on the 23rd for dinner and gifts.
.
They brought wonderfully yummy appetizers and dessert.
I roasted a leg of lamb and made a few other things.
The food was so good, the company even better.
Score!
Tees!
Mac n Cheese for the chef? What?
No, just the boxes their real gifts were disguised in.
Frank and Dave gave us Pictionary Card Game.
We played it on our trip to Boca Raton.
It was really cool.  We all got a kick out of playing
it differently than your use too.
We had a wonderful evening.
A fun filled evening!
We didn't have anything to do on Christmas eve.
Christina worked till 6.  The boys played outside
almost all day with the neighborhood kids
on the trampoline and their bikes.
Mike and I watched movies all day.
At 8:23pm Christmas Eve I over heard Caleb say to
Zachary,  "Lets get ready for bed now and go to sleep
so Santa will come!"  Zachary agreed, and the next
thing we knew they had set up their bed (in our room)
and went to sleep!
Well it worked because Santa did come!
They woke up just after 8, but we made them wait a few
minutes.  We just love torturing them.
Ok, everybody out!
Santa got everything on their lists. Pogo stick, Pillow Pets
Spongebob Snugglies, Baseball set, and several others.
This is a baby blanket that her Great Gramma Ginny
hand stitched for Christina's future children. (she has made
them for my brothers and I, as well as our children)
Somehow this box got wrapped for Christina,
with nothing in it. No idea what happened there!
We got an actual piece of the Daytona Race Track.
They tore up the 51 year old track and because we
pay a year in advance for our infield spot, we got
a piece of the track. Along with papers authenticating it.
After we finished unwrapping all the gifts under the tree
we sent Zachary and Caleb on another hunt for their
missing Christmas present, a Wii game, Mario Super Sluggers
that  Zachary has been wanting for months.
Then we sat down and ate a blueberry
french toast bake that had been cooking for
several hours making the house smell so good.
After breakfast Christina and Ben went to his sisters.
They spent the rest of the evening there.
Mike, the boys and I went to our friends Al and Dianes
for dinner.  Then Mike played pool. Other people played
too, but Mike won all but one game.  He was on fire!
We had played a few days earlier, and when he broke
the 8 ball went in.  Game over! Yet another Mikey win!
Diane's sons have Wii and she bought our boys
Donkey Kong.  They spent most of the night
up in Nicks room playing that.
I guess I didn't take any pictures of our Christmas night,
but we had a great evening with our friends.
A wonderful Christnas indeed!!!
