Bubble Wrap.

Lots of it.

Or perhaps Lazer Light Pens

for them and the cats to chase

all over the house.

You can run screeching "Help! Vampires are trying to suck my blood!"

 while wildly flailing your arms when you see these coming at you.

You can ride your bike 7.5 miles, one way, so they can slide down new slides.

You NetFlix them 'Jaws' when they write you notes asking for it.

You play along when they pretend they are really someone else.

You let them color for so long they fall asleep dreaming of rainbows.

You like the boyfriend that brings your daughter flowers for their 2nd month anniversary.

You take them on a Boy Scout "Scouting For Food" walk to collect food for the needy.

Then you take them to the Pack meeting so they can watch and perform in skits.

You stand back and cheer as they get new badges.

You have to buy a new belt to accomodate all the new belt loops that were achieved.

You take them to Universal Studios several times a month.

And let them pretend to ride a rollercoaster.

While you go on the real one.

Twice.

You show them how much you love each other.

You make silly faces for the camera.

Even when nobody else knows you did until the pictures are developed.

You let them wear whatever they want.

And let them bring a friend along.

You go to their school for lunchtime.

You clap the loudest when your little turkey plays the role of Turkey in a school play.

You help just a little so their project is the best.

And you let them do it themselves for a big sense of Pride.

You let them play golf. Any.Where.

You let them play in the dirt. Well, here its sand.

How to get your kid to Frown?  Make them do their homework.

Lets Go For A Bike Ride

  Christina and I went to Bunco at her best friends house. Her mom was the hostess. I also brought my friend Diane. We had a great time. Although I came in 2nd to last. Christina won! She got $13.  While we were enjoying our Bunco party, Mike and the kids played their own game of  Bunco. Zachary and Elektra won.

We have been playing family games alot. Computer and Board.  Mike set up my laptop to our big TV in the family room. We played LIFE on it. Caleb won.  Even tho he fell asleep halfway thru it.  We played Sorry Madagascar. Caleb kicked our butts!

Weekend mornings are the best! Blueberry pancakes for breakfast! yummy!

The kids like to pretend that this pantry is an elevator. They get in, close the doors, and go to different floors.

The kids were in the den watching Spongebob what else? and Elektra fell asleep.

Christina and I had a Mother-Daughter outing. We went to Dillards where I had the Makeup Artist color match her foundation. She ended up getting a make over!

So Beautiful!

Every morning Mike, Elektra and I walk the boys to the bus stop, then go for a walk. We always see ducks and squirrels.  We have been watching a nest of a dozen eggs. They hatched!

On this day we also saw a SNAKE! As I was snapping this picture Elektra told the snake, "Say Cheese."

We went for a bike ride.

It was windy, which felt so refreshing.

We stopped at our nieghborhood park where the kids played for awhile. Caleb LOVES the swings just like I did at his age. He swings high, then jumps from it.

Zachary will jump, but not from too high!

Princess Elektra has her own chauffeur! He goes all around the backyard in the wagon.

 To get off he stops at the slide, she climbs on it, then slides down.

Caleb has been in an after school Golf program for the last couple of weeks. Recently when Mike picked Caleb up the Golf Pro that teaches the class pulled him aside and asked him how often we are training Caleb? When Mike said he didn't ever give him lessons, she started having Caleb doing swings as if Mike didn't know how good he was. She was totally impressed with Calebs swing.

Mike and Caleb went golfing after school. They were able to get in 9 holes before dark.  Caleb hit his ball near the water, and these turtles started coming towards him while he was trying to hit. One even climbed the bank to try to get him!

MIchelle is currently in the hospital. They are unsure of what she has. Hopefully she will be coming home tomorrow, but please keep her in your prayers.
